The person, who was the pioneering spirit of Lingchom area as social activist by his soul and mind and started convincing local young/youth force and women for integration and to develop an extraordinary formal platform as key facilitator long run to provide key sustainable services for disadvantaged, backward and marginalized community as well as for the educated unemployed. It was unfortunate for all that almighty God took him suddenly one day from us and we really missed this convincing and people friendly person’s tremendous attitude in development manner with his selfless efforts and participatory and systematic action. He had passes away from us at the very early age of 29 years, but his initiatives, positive thoughts and efforts in positive social changes keep him still alive occupying place of each and everyone heart and mind, mother to child, older to younger forever. His rendering efforts in development toward youth, women, child, and communities made him able to achieve district youth award from Nehru Yuva Kendra, under Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India. On the other hand because of his strong, specific, wholehearted and result oriented mentality finally left such an wonderful platform as an asset in our hands ready, which is popularly known “Nature Conservation & Social Organization” (NCSO), whose because it is professionally fit in present position and made people able to associate with. To convey our respect always to his motto to reach proper goal carrying specific Vision & Mission and we pray God for this honest and brilliant person’s soul may alive with peace in heaven.
Nature Conservation & Social Organization (NCSO) is a grassroots non-governmental organization founded in the year 2008 by likeminded and dedicated youth & women of Lingchom, Tingda under North district in the state of Sikkim. Limited social and economic development prompted a team to start this organization to address unmet needs in the community. So in respond to the fact NCSO came to light by indigenous professionals live in the area to engage protection on human rights, humanitarian issues, management & protection of natural resources, environ, developments and capacity buildings with action research which based on participatory approach by all the levels of the community on their priorities for the future its impact. NCSO is aimed to tackle the humanitarian crisis including disaster prevention and also develops community basic social services needs and creates employment opportunities and income generation projects for the youth, women and poor rural community to reduce the level of poverty and contribute National Development Goals. It also provides training, researches and capacity buildings to local authorities and civil society in supporting Good governance within the local authorities and community initiatives and advocacy protection for all human being to create positive environment and develop society, politically, economically throughout the state.
